The power issue is to reduce consumption, seeking strategies to benefit from sunlight and use of technologies to achieve savings for the reduction and better use of natural resources. Prior to the development of activities aimed at rational use of electricity is indispensable in developing the energy assessment which describes and characterizes the energy performance of the entity facilities. * We propose some specific actions that can be implemented in this component:
* Save on the use of resources provided by the institution and its ability to benefit from sunlight. Purchasing products saving devices.
* Reduce the flow of electricity through a culture of using lights and equipment during the day and night.
* Turn off the computer when you leave the office.
* Use printers that have energy saving systems (Powersave or similar), whereby consumption is reduced to a minimum in downtime or waiting to print.
* Where possible, disconnect the printers at night and during weekends. This work should be done systematically. Both the disengagement as the connection is made once it is established that there are no users on the network.
